English 3, Post 8 (FINAL), 'Tell us about a subject you enjoy studying'

For the last time, you are cordially invited to write about a subject you enjoyed studying (University or High School) Include this information: ·         What is the subject? Upload pictures Make comments on 3 of your classmates’ posts + a comment on your teacher's post Word Count: 170 words For the last time, I will leave you with a written sample, " The name of my favourite subject when at University was “Literature III: Seminar on Shakespeare”. It is of no mystery that the subject revolved around the playwright, poet and sometimes actor, William Shakespeare. We basically studied the phenomenon of his works under a critical-historical approach, that is to say, not only working with first-hand material but also dealing with critical texts and essays.

As the title so eloquently suggests, this time there is a choice that you will have to make, either 'a career-oriented website' , or 'an expert person in your field of study'.  Topic A: Tell us about a career-oriented website you enjoy visiting.  Include this information: ·         Describe the website and provide the link. ·         How often do you visit it? ·         Explain why you like the site. ·         Who would you recommend it to?  Dear Earthlings from INAP! Tell us why and how what you study (you're major) can make the world a better place. Make comments on 3 of your classmates’ posts + a comment on your teacher's post Word Count: 150 words As usual, I will leave you with this week's sample entry from my own study programs ('English Literature' and Linguistics' and 'English Pedagogy'), No. I think English Linguistics, Literary Studies and Pedagogy do not straightforwardly affect the world at all. No. Linguistics and Literary Studies are not going to save us from any natural force or danger. Linguistics is a science of language and is only committed to describing it. Literary Studies only represents, nowadays, intellectual escapism and nothing else, unfortunately.
